About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Mow and Snow Land Services (2016) Ltd. as a Sales and Operations Leader. This is a permanent full-time position, working 35 to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Assign sales workers to duties and tasks to ensure efficient sales and customer service operations.
    • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet the needs of the retail business.
    • Authorize returns and exchanges of merchandise to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Establish and manage work schedules to meet business needs.
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure stock availability.
    • Supervise and coordinate activities of sales staff to achieve sales targets.
  • Customer Service and Sales
    • Sell merchandise to customers and provide excellent customer service.
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
    • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Work Environment

This role is based in an urban area, and relocation costs will be covered by the employer. The work environment is fast-paced, and the successful candidate will be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail sales or management role.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Accurate and efficient in all aspects of work.
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Flexible and able to work in a team environment.
    • Reliable and able to maintain a high level of productivity.
Language and Work Term

The primary language of work is English, and the work term is permanent.
