Position Overview:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), your primary responsibility will be to deliver comprehensive nursing care to individuals, families, and communities, ensuring their safety and health. You will employ nursing methodologies that involve critical thinking, problem-solving, and informed decision-making. Additionally, you will educate, counsel, and advocate for patients and their families, playing a pivotal role in fostering an integrated and holistic approach to healthcare.

- Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Support health promotion and maintenance initiatives.

Qualifications Required:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active registration or eligibility for a practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
Additional Qualifications:
Candidates should also possess:
- Certification in IV therapy, defibrillation, and blood glucose monitoring.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills.
- Demonstrated integrity, initiative, and sound judgment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Accountability for personal practice and a dedication to fostering a positive workplace culture.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
