About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented ECE Assistant to join our team at Blueridge Preschool Ltd. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Support: Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Record Keeping: Collaborate with educators and supervisors to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress.
  • Engagement and Activities: Engage children in various activities, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, to promote their cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Staff Meetings: Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss children's progress, share ideas, and address any concerns.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality early childhood education.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
