Job Title: Director, Corporate Asset Management

Manulife is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Corporate Asset Management to join our global Distribution Compliance team. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of Manulife's Third-Party Distribution Risk Management program, globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a compliance framework to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Define operational processes for the distribution program, working collaboratively with the risk management team to identify and mitigate potential distribution compliance risks.
  • Identify and recommend suitable systems and technology to support the compliance framework.
  • Implement a comprehensive enhanced due diligence program for medium/high-risk activities.
  • Establish a robust testing and monitoring program to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee ongoing training and education for employees.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in compliance leadership roles, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of OSFI's regulatory framework, including OSFI E-13 (Regulatory Compliance Management), Regulatory Change Management, and OSFI's B-10 Guideline.
  • University or post-secondary education a definite asset.
  • Understanding of insurance distribution compliance and risk controls.
  • 10 years progressive experience in financial services compliance, audit, risk or other control roles or direct experience in insurance distribution combined with 3-5 years in a leadership role.
