Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Finance to join our team. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all finance and accounting related duties, including the completion of internal and external financial reports and the coordination of the year-end audit process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all finance and accounting related duties, including financial reporting and compliance.
  • Coordinate the year-end audit process and ensure adherence to internal financial controls and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Work closely with the Executive Vice President of Residential Operations and the Director of Asset Management to ensure financial information is provided on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Maintain relationships with Auditors and act as the main point contact for any audits of Centurion related vehicles and other accounting related matters.
Requirements
  • Completion of a bachelor's (or Master's) degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • 5 years of external reporting and corporate finance experience, with public and/or private real-estate industry experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent command of Excel with strong verbal, analytical, organizational, and written skills.
  • Experience with Yardi property management accounting system considered an asset.
