Job Title: Lead Specialist in Production Support (Data Stage, Mainframe, Oracle)

Key Competencies:


• Seasoned Technical Support Analyst with over 7 years of expertise in leadership roles, adept at managing intricate system interactions across diverse cross-functional platforms.

• Proficient in DataStage, ELK, JCL, OCP, Unix, and Oracle PL-SQL.

• Fundamental understanding of JCL troubleshooting processes.

• Extensive experience in application support and customer service.

• Strong customer-facing skills with excellent communication abilities.

• Exceptional critical thinking skills, capable of grasping business objectives and the overarching vision.

• Self-motivated and enthusiastic about acquiring new knowledge and skills.

• Collaborative team player with a positive mindset.

• Willingness to participate in a rotational on-call support schedule.

• Mandatory experience in Production Maintenance and Support.

• Outstanding problem-solving capabilities.

• Proven track record in a leadership capacity.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with ITSM tools and Windows Server infrastructure is a plus.

• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Aternity is advantageous.

• Experience in DevOps practices including CI, CD, continuous testing, and integrating test automation (Jenkins or Helios pipeline), as well as configuring applications on cloud platforms (OpenShift, PCF) is beneficial.

Additional Skills:

• Experience in an onsite-offshore operational model.
Familiarity with the Wealth Management sector is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production support challenges.

• Accountable for change management processes in testing and production settings, including code deployment while adhering to source code and release management protocols.

• Ensure the health and safety of production systems and applications, identifying risks and opportunities for risk mitigation. Enhance existing application monitoring and instrumentation.

• Collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders to provide insights on the optimal combination of development, interfacing applications, and third-party vendor solutions to fulfill business needs and project goals in an agile framework.

• Effectively communicate and foster relationships with team members, management, stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and interface groups using various techniques and collaborative efforts from inception to completion.

• Develop comprehensive knowledge of all organizational aspects, business operations, and information systems.

• Provide mentorship, expertise, and constructive feedback to enhance team capabilities.

• Participate in occasional weekend and after-hours support as required.
