Key Responsibilities- Provide daily living assistance, including personal care and hygiene
- Assist with daily activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
- Support individuals in achieving their goals and promoting independence
- Develop and maintain healthy relationships with individuals and their families
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Diploma in Community Services, Health Care Aid, Human Services, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years' experience in social services or a combination of education and experience
- Related experience in working with vulnerable populations or behavioral challenges
- Reliable transportation and a valid BC driver's licence
- Knowledge of and ability to work with complex trauma, Autism, FASD, ODD, or other neurobiological conditions
- A unionized workforce with yearly wage increases
- CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training provided
- First Aid Certification provided
