Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 1000621334 Ontario inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.
Job Summary:- Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Ensure all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes.
- Manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality food.
- Monitor and control food costs and inventory.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a chef or in a related role.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
