We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 1000621334 Ontario inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.
Job Summary:- Plan and execute menus that meet the needs of our customers and align with our company's culinary vision.
- Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Monitor kitchen operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
- Plan and prepare menus, including estimating food requirements and ordering supplies.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement recipes, menu items, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a similar environment.
- Proven track record of leading a team and achieving high-quality results.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality food presentation.
- Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands.
- Stand for extended periods, with frequent bending, lifting, and carrying of heavy objects.
