Your Role
Our Red Deer office is seeking a Manager to lead the Assurance team, taking on the following responsibilities:
- Conduct audit and review engagements for both public and private clients, ensuring adherence to relevant professional standards and Firm policies.
- Efficiently plan, oversee, and execute assurance and non-assurance engagements.
- Assurance & Accounting projects may encompass the preparation of financial statements, accounting advisory, and participation in tax services for assurance and non-assurance clients.
- Continuously develop business opportunities with existing clients.
- Address client concerns promptly, adhering to BDO Policy while utilizing your strong technical skills and accounting expertise.
- Leverage industry and business knowledge to anticipate, identify, and resolve issues pertinent to the client's operations.

Your Qualifications
- Professional designation required (CA, CMA, CGA, or CPA).
- Minimum of 1 year of management experience in an accounting and/or assurance capacity.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Act as a leader within the Firm, with a focus on employee engagement.
- Extensive experience with IFRS and ASPE files.
