Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons 2859149 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports as required
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and check assembly of trays
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
