Position Overview

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the PACU, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing treatment for cancer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct nursing care to patients in the oncology department, performing thorough assessments and formulating individualized care plans.
  • Engage with patients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to collaboratively develop and modify treatment strategies.
  • Administer prescribed medications and vigilantly observe patient responses.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient documentation while facilitating educational initiatives for patients.
  • Uphold a secure and supportive environment for all patients.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Nursing program and active RN licensure.
  • Current certification in CPR.
  • A minimum of one year of pertinent nursing experience.

Essential Skills

  • Exhibit strong clinical acumen and apply it effectively in practice.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and healthcare colleagues.
  • Prioritize and organize patient care efficiently.
  • Physically capable of performing nursing duties as required.
