Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at BC Cancer in Kelowna, BC. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to Oncology patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Administer medications, injections, and blood products as required.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe and respectful work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as an RN with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Current CPR (Level C) certification.
  • One (1) year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
