Entry-Level Warehouse Operations Supervisor

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse during the night shift. Your leadership will ensure that all receiving and delivery processes are executed smoothly and effectively.
Schedule: 10pm – 8am Sunday – Wednesday
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the timely receipt and dispatch of finished goods.
- Optimize warehouse layout and loading procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support daily operational needs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide exceptional service while controlling costs.
- Guide your team in resolving daily operational challenges and achieving performance targets.
- Lead change initiatives effectively while minimizing impacts on personnel.
- Foster cross-departmental communication to address operational issues.
- Enhance team capabilities through effective hiring, training, and communication.
- Inspire team members to meet and exceed performance goals.
- Manage the inventory system to support production scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
- Identify and implement productivity improvements to meet operational objectives.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular attendance and presence on the warehouse floor.
- Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs may be required.
- Work may be performed in varying weather conditions.
- Flexibility for off-shift and weekend work may be necessary.
- Minimal travel (less than 5%) may be required.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to provide and accept constructive feedback.
- Strong team leadership and decision-making skills.
- Proven track record in a results-driven environment.
- Exceptional leadership abilities to mentor and guide team members.
- Effective skills in coaching, facilitating, and team building.
