Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our night operations from 10pm to 8am, Sunday through Wednesday. This position is essential in ensuring the efficient management of our warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the timely receipt and dispatch of finished goods.
  • Optimizing warehouse layout and loading procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintaining appropriate inventory levels to support daily sales operations.
  • Providing prompt service to the sales team while controlling warehouse costs.
  • Leading the team to address daily operational challenges and achieve performance objectives.
  • Implementing effective change management strategies to facilitate business improvements.
  • Collaborating across departments to resolve operational issues.
  • Enhancing team capabilities through effective hiring, training, and communication.
  • Inspiring team members to meet established goals.
  • Overseeing the inventory management system to assist in production planning.
  • Upholding all safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Identifying and executing productivity enhancements to align with annual operational targets.
  • Enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring consistent attendance and presence on the warehouse floor.
  • Lifting up to 40 lbs. occasionally as part of job duties.
  • Working in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.
  • Potentially working off-shifts and weekends as needed.
  • Minimal travel may be required (less than 5%).
Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong skills in providing and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative team environment for decision-making.
  • Proven track record in a results-driven, challenging setting.
