Key Responsibilities:- Manage the receiving and delivery of finished products in a timely manner, minimizing delays and ensuring optimal inventory levels.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse layout, dock operations, and truck loading patterns to reduce loading time and increase productivity.
- Collaborate with the sales department to provide timely service while minimizing warehouse and production costs.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team to solve day-to-day operational issues and achieve short- and long-term performance goals.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and drive business changes.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet daily sales needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and housekeeping standards, and provide training to front-line personnel.
- Identify and execute productivity opportunities to help the facility meet annual operating plan goals.
- Administer policies and procedures, ensuring regular and predictable attendance and adherence to company standards.
- Microsoft Suite proficiency, including Excel comprehension.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback, and lead a team-based approach to decision making.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment, with strong leadership skills and the ability to get results through mentoring others.
- Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills.
