We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Carlyle Family Foods.
Responsibilities- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure a well-stocked bakery.
- Bake mixed dough and batters to produce high-quality baked goods.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Prepare special orders and ensure that products meet established quality standards.
- Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and productive workflow.
- Draw up production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Train staff to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency in the bakery.
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards and that all food safety protocols are followed.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
