Job Title: Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Regional Recycling Abbotsford. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management: Manage and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, analyze customer behavior, and inform purchasing decisions.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold, ensuring they meet customer demand and align with our business goals.
  • Price and Credits Policies: Develop and implement pricing strategies and credit policies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Supply Chain Management: Source and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring timely delivery and optimal pricing.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote our products and services, drive sales, and increase brand awareness.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Determine staffing requirements and create schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize labor costs.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints, provide excellent service, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages and benefits.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees.
  • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
Support for Youths:
  • Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.

Work Term: Permanent
