Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ECE Assistant to join our team. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our educators and providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Responsibilities
  • Education and Training
    • Support educators in planning and implementing educational programs that meet the needs of children.
    • Assist in creating a safe and healthy learning environment that promotes physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Childcare and Support
    • Provide individualized support to children with special needs or requirements.
    • Assist with daily routines, including mealtime, rest time, and outdoor play.
  • Screening and Assessment
    • Participate in screening and assessment processes to identify children's strengths and areas for development.
    • Collaborate with educators to develop and implement individualized plans to support children's learning and development.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and support.
    • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment that values diversity and promotes a culture of respect and empathy.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English or French.
