Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development and Education
    • Assess and support the development of children's cognitive, emotional, and social skills through engaging activities and play-based learning.
    • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Childcare and Support
    • Provide high-quality care and supervision to infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
    • Assist children with developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share information about their child's progress and needs.
    • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the childcare center.
  • Environment and Safety
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for children, including the upkeep of daycare equipment and facilities.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
    • Experience working with children in a childcare setting is an asset.
  • Language and Communication
    • Fluency in French is required.
  • Work Environment
    • 40 hours per week, permanent position.
