About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our growing team in Canada and the USA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our presence in the Enterprise Architecture and Engineering Lifecycle Management markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers and industry leaders.
  • Solution Selling: Collaborate with technical teams to understand product offerings, features, and capabilities, and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients through presentations, demonstrations, and proposals.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure, tracking progress, prioritizing opportunities, and ensuring timely follow-up to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Negotiations and Contracts: Support negotiations on pricing, terms, and contracts to secure new business deals, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with complementary technology vendors and industry associations, and channel partners to expand market reach and drive incremental revenue.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to provide visibility into sales performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3+ years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or consulting, with a proven track record of success in B2B sales in Canada.
  • Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, build and expand a network with customers, and travel as required.
  • Language: Bilingual in French and English.
