Senior Sustainability Analyst – Building and Lifecycle Evaluation

Are you passionate about enhancing corporate responsibility through sustainable practices? We are seeking a dedicated professional with expertise in sustainable building certifications and methodologies.

Key Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with team members and clients;
  • Proficient in presenting findings in an accessible manner, offering actionable recommendations;
  • Educational background in engineering or architecture;
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the construction or architectural field;
  • Thorough understanding of sustainable development standards and best practices;
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and French;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis tools (e.g., VBA for Excel, SimaPro, OpenLCA, ATHENA, etc.).

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Responsibility, the Senior Analyst will primarily focus on conducting lifecycle assessments and providing strategic guidance to firms in the sustainable building sector.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Analyst will work closely with project teams to:

  • Identify and gather relevant data for project execution;
  • Oversee project management effectively (both internal and external);
  • Guide junior analysts in their project tasks;
  • Stay updated on new methodologies and advancements in sustainable building;
  • Develop strategic recommendations based on comprehensive data analysis;
  • Advise on green building certifications, product selections, and measurement tools;
  • Draft reports and create presentations tailored to client needs;
  • Ensure compliance with recognized reporting frameworks (GRI, CDP, MSCI, EcoVadis, CSA, etc.).
