Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Sandstone Motel & Lounge and Sandstone Gas Plus. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in our food and beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting their full potential.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and a client-focused approach.
