Education Requirements: A college diploma or CEGEP certificate from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year is required.

Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop detailed specifications for interior design projects.
  2. Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment with various stakeholders.
  3. Create interior spaces that meet clients' needs and reflect their personal style.
  4. Analyze blueprints, schemas, and drawings to inform design decisions.
  5. Provide expert advice on the selection of colours, finishes, materials, lighting, furniture, and other items, ensuring compliance with ergonomic and occupational health standards.
  6. Consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, safety requirements, and the purpose of the space.
  7. Design and develop plans, elevations, cross sections, and detailed drawings for interior design projects.
Technical Skills:
  1. Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
