About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join our team at Groupe Marchand Architecture & Design Inc. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces that meet the needs and preferences of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed specifications and plans for interior spaces, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and safety requirements.
  • Advise on the selection of colours, finishes, materials, lighting, and furniture, ensuring that they meet the client's needs and budget.
  • Prepare and present design concepts and plans to clients, ensuring that they are clear and concise.
  • Collaborate with other designers and stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in interior design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
