About the Role

Groupe Marchand Architecture & Design Inc. is seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces that meet the needs and preferences of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Planning: Prepare detailed specifications and develop plans, elevations, cross sections, and detailed drawings to bring our clients' vision to life.
  • Client Consultation: Consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, safety requirements, and purpose of space, ensuring that our designs meet their expectations.
  • Technical Skills: Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to create accurate and detailed designs.
  • Collaboration: Work in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with other designers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Materials and Finishes: Advise clients on the selection of colours, finishes, materials, lighting, furniture, and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in interior design or a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
