About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Depot. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Quality Control and Customer Service

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Administrative Tasks

Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.

Work Schedules and Staff Management

Establish work schedules and manage staff to ensure that the restaurant is adequately staffed at all times.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and physically demanding tasks.
