About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Depot. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Staff: Lead and motivate a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient food preparation and service.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, beverages, and supplies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Maintain Quality Control Standards: Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Accurately record and report on sales, inventory, and other key metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize labor costs.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 7 Months to Less than 1 Year of Experience: Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is essential.
  • Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills are required to motivate and supervise staff.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines is essential.
Work Environment

Pizza Depot is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a noisy and physically demanding environment, with frequent standing and lifting.
