About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Depot. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train and develop our staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Quality Control and Customer Service

Ensure that our food and service meet the highest standards of quality, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Administrative Tasks

Prepare and submit reports, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and perform other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Work Environment

Noisy and fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Physical Demands

Standing for extended periods and physically demanding work.

Personal Suitability

Excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, dependability, judgement, reliability, and organized.
