School District No. 48 (Sea to Sky) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team in the Squamish, Whistler & Pemberton areas.

Rate of Pay: $29.58 per hour

Duties & Responsibilities:

• General cleaning of schools as assigned by the Manager of Maintenance, including lifting of miscellaneous furniture, changing lights, operation of motorized cleaning equipment, knowledge of chemicals, and application of floor coatings.

• Attention to building security and maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualifications:

• Completion of Grade 10 plus relevant courses/workshops and up to three months related experience or an equivalent combination of related training and experience.

• Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) and Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) safety regulations.

Required Documents:

• Cover letter and resume indicating related qualifications and work experience.

• Certificates/Diplomas/Transcript or Coursework paperwork that you would like to add to be considered for the position.
