Position Overview

The role of the Administrative Assistant at Sentry Fire Protection involves a variety of essential functions that support the smooth operation of our office.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Document and compile minutes from meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Manage incoming calls and relay messages efficiently.
  • Respond to electronic inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Procure office supplies and oversee inventory management.
  • Welcome visitors and guide them to the appropriate contacts or service areas.
  • Type and review correspondence, forms, and various documents for accuracy.
  • Conduct data entry tasks as required.
  • Handle basic bookkeeping responsibilities.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Windows, SharePoint, and MS Office.
Industry Knowledge
  • Familiarity with business terminology and practices.
  • Experience in purchasing, procurement, and contract management.
