Job Title: Medical Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Mountview Physiotherapy & Rehab Centre.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our medical team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
  • Manage incoming mail and other materials, and distribute them to the relevant staff members
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain a calendar of upcoming events
  • Prepare and process insurance claims and other documents
  • Maintain a well-organized filing system and ensure confidentiality of patient records
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory levels
  • Develop and implement office procedures and routines to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Enter and format medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff members
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a medical administrative role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Outlook
