About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health. As a key member of our Mental Health Team, you will be responsible for providing psychiatric assessment and treatment to patients admitted in medical and surgical wards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment to patients in a team-based model
  • Liaise and collaborate with primary care teams for integrated patient care
  • Supervise medical students and psychiatry residents as required
  • Participate in the development and implementation of mental health programs and services
Requirements
  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) - Full
  • Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Eligible
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) – Desired
