Position Overview

The Office Administrator at Elder Tree Montessori plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage various tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Evaluation: Assess and refine new administrative protocols to enhance efficiency.
  • Task Delegation: Assign responsibilities to office support personnel to optimize workflow.
  • Work Prioritization: Set priorities for tasks and ensure adherence to established procedures and timelines.
  • Administrative Management: Oversee the administrative functions of the organization.
  • Policy Administration: Implement policies regarding the management of records in compliance with government regulations.
  • Office Coordination: Plan and coordinate office services, including logistics, supplies, and maintenance.
  • Budget Assistance: Aid in the development of the operational budget and manage inventory and financial controls.
  • Data Assembly: Compile data and generate regular and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Procedure Oversight: Supervise and coordinate office administrative procedures.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months of relevant experience in an administrative role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
