Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage environmental assessments and permit applications for various development projects.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and maintain accurate records for all projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance project designs with sustainability in mind.
  • Engage with governmental and community stakeholders to facilitate the permitting process.
  • Monitor environmental trends and regulatory changes to inform company strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of Taseko's environmental policies and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the mining industry.
  • At least 3 years of experience working on-site at an operational mine.
  • Professional registration with a recognized association in British Columbia.
