Job Title: Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at The Gananoque Inn & Spa. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring we have the necessary resources to deliver exceptional service.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, ensuring they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
