About the Position

We are seeking a Claims Auditor (Appraisal) to enhance our dynamic team in Ontario. In this role, you will oversee the auditing process for appraisals conducted within the Ontario Auto Appraisal Unit. Your extensive background in appraisal management will allow you to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing customer satisfaction, boosting employee morale, and streamlining processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly audits across various auto appraisal categories in Ontario, ensuring compliance with established best practices.
  • Deliver consistent feedback to the management team regarding employee performance, emphasizing both achievements and areas for development.
  • Analyze departmental trends to identify training needs and communicate findings to management and training personnel.
  • Evaluate completed reviews to discern trends and provide constructive feedback to support process enhancements.
  • Engage in additional initiatives as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in auto appraisal handling or a relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical abilities to identify issues, gather data, and draw logical conclusions.
  • High level of integrity with a proven ability to cultivate trust-based relationships.
  • Demonstrated capacity to guide teams through uncertain situations, showcasing adaptability and agility.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, OneNote, and similar applications.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a forward-thinking approach.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Possession of a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is advantageous.
