Medical Office Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at North Delta Animal Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Interview Patients: Conduct thorough interviews with patients to obtain accurate case histories.
- Mail and Supply Management: Open and distribute incoming mail, as well as order and maintain inventory of supplies.
- Scheduling and Confirmation: Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and healthcare providers.
- Training and Development: Train staff on procedures and software usage.
- Insurance and Claims: Complete insurance and claim forms accurately and efficiently.
- Filing and Data Entry: Maintain confidential medical files and records, and perform data entry tasks.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Language: English.
- Hours: 30 hours per week.
- Work Term: Permanent.
