Environmental Laboratory Sample Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Laboratory Sample Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Bureau Veritas Laboratories. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of samples through our laboratory, from receipt to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of samples.
- Develop and implement effective sample logistics procedures to minimize delays and errors.
- Collaborate with laboratory managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of sample logistics with laboratory operations.
- Monitor and analyze sample logistics metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to laboratory staff on sample logistics procedures and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and laboratory policies and procedures.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g. laboratory science, logistics, management).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in laboratory operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with laboratory staff, managers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
