Environmental Laboratory Sample Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Laboratory Sample Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Bureau Veritas Laboratories. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of samples through our laboratory, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of samples.
- Develop and implement processes to improve laboratory efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with laboratory managers and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Monitor and evaluate laboratory performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide coaching and training to laboratory staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g. chemistry, biology, environmental science).
- At least 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with laboratory staff, managers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
