Technical Sales Specialist Opportunity

Lock Search Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and growing market share within the Alberta market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and develop strong relationships with end-user clients and distribution partners.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop account-specific plans that maximize sales, profit, and market share.
  • Prospect for new accounts and manage a large existing book of business.
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales reports and forecasts.
  • Utilize market and account-specific data to develop strong fact-based selling presentations.
  • Manage a robust territory through effective time management and strategic planning.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude and interest are essential for this technical sales position.
  • Previous technical selling experience is highly preferred, with a strong background in solution selling.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as Mechanical Engineering or Business, is preferred.
  • Exceptional hands-on knowledge of MS Office, Social Media, and Customer Sales Reporting systems.
  • Comfort and interest in working from a home office.
  • An attractive compensation package, including salary, commission, and benefits.
