Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Mulligans Restaurant & Lounge Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of menu items, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement new menu items and specials, working closely with the head chef and culinary team.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and exceptional customer experience.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in culinary arts or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of menu development, kitchen operations management, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
