About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. as a Maintenance Planning Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the development and implementation of proactive maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Proactive Maintenance Programs: Create and implement proactive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with operations, production planning, and reliability teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Manage Maintenance Scheduling: Schedule maintenance activities using SAP and ensure that all preventive and predictive routines are completed at predetermined intervals.
  • Analyze and Improve Maintenance Processes: Continuously analyze and improve maintenance processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and Maintain CMMS System: Maintain the integrity of the CMMS system, including table updates, reporting analysis, and troubleshooting system issues.
  • Develop and Maintain SOPs and Workflows: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and workflows to ensure consistency and efficiency in maintenance activities.
  • Provide Technical Support: Provide technical support to maintenance teams and ensure that all maintenance-related issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering Technology, or 5 years of related maintenance trade work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of RCM, TPM, and SAP. Proficient in MS Office and able to analyze reports and troubleshoot areas of downtime concerns.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
