About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing proactive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Proactive Maintenance Programs: Create and execute maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with operations, production planning, and reliability teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Manage Maintenance Scheduling and Reporting: Utilize SAP system to schedule and track maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to production.
  • Optimize Equipment Performance: Analyze reports and troubleshoot areas of downtime concerns to identify trends and implement improvements.
  • Ensure Compliance and Quality: Maintain adherence to Global Standard for Food Safety and quality management processes, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develop and Maintain SOPs and Workflows: Create and update standard operating procedures and workflows to ensure efficient and effective maintenance practices.
  • Monitor and Maintain CMMS System: Serve as a subject matter expert on the CMMS system, ensuring accurate data entry, reporting, and analysis.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering degree, or 5 years of related maintenance trade work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of RCM, TPM, and SAP systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
