Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Reliability and Maintenance Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and support to a variety of asset management, reliability, and maintenance projects within our Asset Management practice.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement maintenance and reliability programs, projects, and initiatives for our clients.
- Build functional asset hierarchies and asset criticality and risk assessment frameworks.
- Develop optimized proactive tasks to manage asset failure and provide input to other asset management projects.
- Assess asset history to identify reliability improvement opportunities and identify root causes of failures.
- Document current practices and recommend best-in-class approaches to practices.
- Lead maintenance and reliability practice maturity assessments and data analysis and optimization of proactive maintenance programs.
- Analyze and provide recommendations for the effective use of EAM/CMMS systems and coordinate and manage the implementation of EAM/CMMS systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking and detail-oriented individual with proven problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, problem-solving skills, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and cross-functionally with technical personnel.
- Results-focused, providing solutions with a return-on-investment (ROI) mentality.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, a trade ticket, or other relevant experience in a maintenance or reliability role.
- Relevant certifications (CRL, CMRP, CRE, etc.) would be an asset.
- Field experience in a maintenance, planning, scheduling, or reliability role would be an asset.
- Knowledge or experience in industries such as water treatment, wastewater treatment, manufacturing, or chemical processing would be an asset.
- Experience in the use, benefits, and limitations of condition-based or predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration, ultrasonic, or infrared would be an asset.
- Experience with facilitating Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
- Extensive, hands-on experience using a CMMS system.
- Experience in Microsoft applications Excel, Access, and PowerBI.
- Knowledge or experience in computer programming (Python and/or SQL) would be an asset.
