Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Table Games Supervisor to join our team at Great Canadian Entertainment. As a key member of our gaming operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of table games operations, ensuring a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor dealers in an assigned area, maintain game integrity, and monitor game limits and cash/value transactions.
  • Assign shift work assignments in an assigned area, make changes to schedules as required, and provide input for coaching and mentoring employees.
  • Participate in the implementation of table games strategic plans, request fill/credit issuance as required, and verify cash/value transactions pertaining to floats, fills credits, and tips.
  • Respond to, resolve, or escalate issues, report irregularities and suspicious activities, and assist in allotting player seating and waiting lists.
  • Maintain a tidy work area, liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments, and perform all duties and responsibilities of a Table Games Dealer.
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including guests, ownership, and employees, and ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma; Post-Secondary education or a suitable combination of education and experience is an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming experience is required.
  • Knowledge and experience in a variety of table games, including Roulette, Baccarat, Blackjack, and UTH, is required.
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office is required.
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Responsible Beverage certification and maintain a Gaming Registration within applicable province (New Brunswick).
  • Strong and accurate mathematical skills, manual dexterity, and the ability to stand for long periods of time are required.
