Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cage Supervisor to join our team at Casino New Brunswick. As a key member of our Cage team, you will be responsible for overseeing the distribution, verification, and reconciliation of cash and cash equivalents, as well as ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our cash handling processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the Cage team, providing input for performance evaluations and objectives
  • Responsible for completing and monitoring audits related to cash handling, including LCT, PGF, SOF, RM, and other forms as required
  • Prepare the Cage for opening and closing, distributing, verifying, and reconciling Cashier floats
  • Verify or complete large transactions
  • Document and reconcile cash and cash equivalents, providing reports as needed
  • Participate in Cage corporate training and assist in conducting site training
  • Monitor and report all discrepancies and suspicious cash activities
  • Respond to, resolve, or escalate cage issues
  • Communicate effectively with all operational departments
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external guests
  • Comply with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements

Qualification Requirements

  • High School Diploma; Post-Secondary education an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in high-volume cash handling
  • Supervisor experience is an asset
  • Slots or Table Game experience is an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The role requires a flexible schedule that adapts to business needs, including non-traditional work hours, holidays, evenings, overnights, or weekend shifts
  • Bilingualism (Fr/Eng) is an asset
  • Must be at least 19 years of age or older
  • Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Gaming Registration within applicable province (New Brunswick)
