About This Role

As a key member of our Casino New Brunswick team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our table games area. Under the guidance of our Table Games Assistant Manager or Pit Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of our table games operations, maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor dealers in an assigned area, maintaining game integrity and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Assign shift work and make changes to schedules as required.
  • Provide input for coaching and mentoring employees, and participate in the implementation of table games strategic plans.
  • Verify cash and value transactions, and respond to, resolve or escalate issues as needed.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments, and maintain a tidy work area.
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including guests, ownership, and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma; post-secondary education or a suitable combination of education and experience an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of gaming experience required, with knowledge and experience in a variety of table games (Roulette, Baccarat, Blackjack, UTH).
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office, and ability to successfully obtain a Responsible Beverage certification and Gaming Registration within applicable province (New Brunswick).
  • Strong and accurate mathematical skills, and manual dexterity with the ability to stand for long periods of time.
