Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing dealing services to customers while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, motivate and lead by example, and support the learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal card games in a fair and transparent manner
  • Maintain the security of the table and its float
  • Control the table in the correct order of play; close bets at the appropriate time
  • Refer disputes, irregularities, or suspicious activities to the manager
  • Verify chip refills and credits
  • Tidy the workstation and pit area
  • Communicate effectively with operational departments
  • Build strong working relationships with guests and team members
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Dedication to providing great customer service
  • Dealer Certificate (training provided)
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
  • Other languages an asset
Work Environment
  • Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, dealing cards for long periods of time, some exposure to noise, some exposure to verbal abuse, non-traditional work hours
