Job Summary:

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading HVAC company in North America to find a skilled Engineering Salesperson for their Kelowna branch.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing the needs of the engineering community by understanding, engineering, and detailing the selection of components, systems, and solutions for HVAC designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, including engineers, architects, contractors, developers, and owners.
  • Maintain a presence in the engineering community to promote products and solutions.
  • Understand client needs and provide technical solutions to achieve satisfaction and design intent.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry and local codes, regulations, and market trends to ensure compliance and identify opportunities.
  • Self-educate and attend manufacturer training visits to stay current on product developments and software tools.
  • Cross-train on mechanical and air-side products to identify opportunities for other products.
  • Assist with planning and implementing new product introductions to the market.
  • Attend divisional and office meetings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering with excellent knowledge of HVAC systems.
  • University degree or College diploma in Mechanical Engineering specialization required.
  • Holding a Professional Engineer designation (PEng) is an asset.
  • Ability to read Architectural and Mechanical drawings.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and resourceful.
